The snow around the Lodge has receded a lot in recent days, due to thawing and lots of rainfall. We're having a sunny break today, with more rain expected tomorrow, along with flood warnings for our local river. Oh, dear....

On our way to church, we discover that the ice is fully out on our little lake.
A portion of our road is a mud pit and deeply rutted. Barely one half is passable. A disaster waiting to happen. A phone call to the Road Agent might be in order.
We passed two different batches of turkeys on our drive to the village.

International Food Week is ongoing. Last night we enjoyed takeaway Singapore Curry Noodles from Ping's in the village. For tonight the Chap chose a repeat of burritos, but this time stuffed with spicy ground beef and veg and topped by a mole sauce.
