The big deck (aka the Party Deck) this morning.

The lower deck (aka the Octagon).

Ruth and Lola, snow-leaping across their fenced yard.

After romping in the snow, Jewel is ready to come inside for a nap. Ruth...not so much.

It is a most beautiful day! I certainly don't consider this a Bleak Midwinter, but we've definitely seen the "snow on snow on snow...."
Our property was covered with a pristine, perfectly smooth white blanket. But last night a single deer, or multiple deer (aka deers in MEP-speak) traversed it, leaving their trails.
Fun with Statistics: As of last night, December snowfall for Concord (aka the Capital City) equals 28 inches. By this this date in December '06, a mere and nearly nonexistent .2 inches.
