"It was imprudent of us, in the first place, to become authors. We could have become something regular, but we managed not to.
We were lucky, but we were also determined." Roy Blount Jr

"I don’t change the facts to enhance the drama. I think of it the other way round, the drama has got to fit the facts,
and it’s your job as a writer to find the shape in real life."
Hilary Mantel

By the Lake

We did some self-timer shots with the Big White Boat passing by the dock. There was definitely a "money shot" but I really liked this test shot.

I had a good afternoon of meetings. She had an awesome afternoon by the lake. I got home in time for the show: sunset on the dock.

We had delicious salmon for supper--she cooked it to perfection.

Today we're off to the outlet center with a discount coupon. After that, the personal tour of the State House. Somewhere along the way we'll pick up lobsters for suppah and rejoin the Chap and Ruth and Jewel back at the Lodge.
