"It was imprudent of us, in the first place, to become authors. We could have become something regular, but we managed not to.
We were lucky, but we were also determined." Roy Blount Jr

"I don’t change the facts to enhance the drama. I think of it the other way round, the drama has got to fit the facts,
and it’s your job as a writer to find the shape in real life."
Hilary Mantel

Snow Day

Scary snow monsters racing round our backyard.

Obscene amounts of snow on our decks.

I'm fairly sure we've exceeded our expected snow totals. I say that because I've periodically shovelled the steps for us and the dogs, and cleared paths across the main deck. Of course, at the bottom of the deck, on ground level, is a wall of snow...which our snowplow guy has made even more impenetrable.

I've had a pleasant snowbound day. Have places to go tomorrow. The storm is supposed to end tonight.

This event probably increases our odds of having a White Christmas.

According to Blogger, this completes my 1000th blog post. Not quite all of them have been posted for public consumption...but that's how many I've written.
