The first stop: Chauncey Creek Lobsters. All three of us ordered a lobster roll and a side of fried onion rings. The chaps had beer, and I drank my usual.

We braved the traffic--it was an awesome day, the whole world was on the coast--and headed to York. The good thing about getting stuck in a major traffic jam was being able to take photos of our final destination--Nubble Light. Careful framing of the shot makes the beach look far, far less populated than it actually was!

As usual, Nubble Light was looking photogenic.

Heading back along Route 1, we stopped in at the Maine Prisons gift shop.

The Shawshank Redemption is my Chap's favourite movie, ever. So I bought him a t-shirt.

We paused in Portsmouth to quench our thirst at Molly Malone's, the Irish Pub. They have Strongbow cider--draft--so I was happy, although Bulmer's would've been more authentically Irish!
